DSU is a cheap alternative, especially if you plan to save for grad school; however, there's a lot of politics and drama that students have to put up with because the staff is always unhappy. I'll admit it. I'm at DSU because of the price, not because I've heard positive things about it. I give a lot of credit to the Natural Science professors though. As much as they may hate coming to work at DSU each day, they care about their students and want us to be fully prepared for life after graduation. I can't submit this review without mentioning the International Students. Coming from someone who has been to other countries, I know what it feels like to be the minority. At times, I DSU students can be too closeminded about International Students. I think it's a great learning experience, but where I disagree with DSU is the amount of International Students they allow on campus. It can be overwhelming and I've had professors who have slowed down lectures to make sure those who don't speak English well can still keep up. |
