Adrian College was my first and only choice for a place to attend college. After 3 full years as a full time student, I have been made more and more aware of the issues that the school refuses to address. Many of the services on the campus are simply not acceptable. The wireless internet has been an issue for all 3 years and continues to not be a priority to the administration. But don't worry each dorm room is equipped with an ethernet port (which works only most of the time), just don't compete too much with your roommate for that ethernet. Next the dining quality, while improving, is not up to snuff. Nothing is open past 11, which wouldn't be a problem if college students kept "normal" hours. But disregarding that, when calculating how much a meal plan actually costs per meal, the average is above $20 per meal. But don't worry to live on campus you are required to have a meal plan. Parking is another matter to consider. The cost to park on campus is $150, and the competition for parking spots is brutal. When questioned about the issue, the campus has respondedthere isn't a parking problem only a walking problem. Now walking from a parking lot a quarter of a mile away from your dorm is reasonable in the late spring and early fall months, but in the winter the walk can be brutal. The professors are the saving grace of the school. The small class sizes allow you to get to know the professors in a great way. |
