I love it here in fall but the winters are different since it is upstate NY. SO come with your winter clothes! The professors here are very nice and the ones that I had were very good at explaining what they are doing..the power point slides help out A LOT. I just transferred here and this school is a lot cheaper. So you get a great education for a cheaper price. The people here are nice…they are mostly either from Long Island or Upstate. There are many internationals and people from put of state as well. The surrounding city could be a little better though. There are movie theaters, bowling, little food shops downtown (which the bus takes u to and the bus comes with tuition so you don't have to worry about that) there are bars as well but not as fun as the city. Oneonta is definitely a college town because of Hartwick College being basically right next to us and suny delhi being so close. The food here is fantastic!! they are really more health conscience here by putting the nutrition facts on the televisions in the dining halls and online. I love this college it was very easy to make friends. The only thing is make sure you make time for studying because you need a 2.5 gpa to be in good standing with the college and take 5 courses a semester and anything lower than a 2.0 GOODBYE! There is a lot of extra help if u need it too. |
