Some of you may think oh every college will have negative comments, but this is not the case Nyack really is THAT BAD. Firstly the food sucks. The dorm rooms are pretty bad and the entire residential buildings are pathetic. I went to Nyack to deepen my faith and I left Nyack never wanting to enter another church. Before you consider going to Nyack ask yourself if perhaps going to a Christian college will deter your faith. Religion is pretty much shoved down your throat. Chapel 3 times a week, theology courses, narrow-minded students and small groups. I had a really hard time making friends and left Nyack with only 2 true friends. In reality I am a very sociable person and never have had the problem of making friends. The social life is absolutely DEAD. I went into college thinking that I didn't want to party, drink, etc. but there is literally NOTHING TO DO. If you are thinking of going to Nyack College I beg you to reconsider, hoping that I may save you from the crap I had to put up with. |
