It is expensive, but there are others that are more so. Generally, while I was there, the social life was relaxed, and more up to you than up to the CAB. The faculty was so-so. There are a lot of classes taught by only one person and there are some teachers that can be downright vindictive, but I would not consider that unique. It does tend to have just enough Christian flavor to make you feel like it might be a very spiritual campus. If that bothers you, don't go there. They are not going to change. In terms of authentic spirituality, it is about like any other "christian college". Don't expect it to be really distinctive. If you want a small school experience, this is it, but don't be fooled into thinking it is some sort of exclusive experience you can only get there. |
