Claflin is one of the most beautiful black colleges I have ever visited and unfortunately, this was one of their greatest selling points to have me attend. Admissions and financial aid faculty are the friendliest bunch on campus which inadvertently creates a facade for prospective students. However, shortly after signing my soul over for a semester of college, I quickly saw the charade being put on. Most teachers are not qualified to hold their positions. Coming straight to CU from masters school with little to no experience in their fields. (basically, they know nothing about your prospective careers, but having a master's degree technically makes them qualified to prepare you for your future. The town is in the nations top 25 for HIV/AIDS so do not party with the locals. The mass communications program is by far the best on the campus. It challenges students to keep a good GPA, while participating heavily with their community and a healthy social life. #TeamMassCommHope I helped. |
