I am not the target audience for this because I am a professor at JU and I can confirm the place is a joke academically. We are pressured not to fail too many students to keep the tuition dollars flowing. Our raises depend entirely on student evaluations and petty politics. You might think, great, they care what we think, but in reality it creates a sharp downward pressure academic standards. It is little more than a glorified high school and despite not listing my department I still fear I could be identified and fired. As soon as I can find another job I am out of here. If you are already a student here just look around for any good professor you had in a previous year…where did they go?
