This school is a joke. Kaplan should be investigated for robbing students and the federal government of vital financial aid money. They will take your money and then require you to pay extra sums of money to provide for job placement which they promised would be covered by the initial tuition. This school is a SCAM. I attended the Kaplan dental assistant program in El Paso, Texas. At first they promised the program would prepare me in the dental field. They said it would be challenging, but very productive because they would also provide employment placement within the field. They lied! The instructors are more interested in gossip among themselves than teaching students. They are also not qualified to teach the subject matter. The administrators pretend to help students but are only interested in getting more and more money from student financial aid programs. The students attending are there, they will even tell you straight up, "I'm only here for the financial aid money". Many are violent, aggressive, and some, I believe, have criminal backgrounds. Do yourself a favor and do not attend this school. In the end you will end up owing thousands of dollars for nothing. No valuable knowledge, no job, no future. I don't know how this institution continues to operate because they are bordering on criminal practices. Sorry, sorry, SHAM! Too late for me but not for you. Shop around and look at community college who although do not promise quick results, but actually provide you with the tools necessary to get a job and earning potential. Good Luck!
