I was disappointed each and every day I was there. I heard everything about the nursing program (mostly about how difficult it is to get in and how grades are the most important aspect of the program.) I was told by a consler that the school weeds out students to accept the very best into their nursing program. There are hundreds of applicants and less than 50 spaces a semester. They do not have a waiting list;it goes by gpa and a 10% pool.If one gets lucky, they may get in.The pre courses include chemistry for nursing(which is not needed in RI and other states!) I would NOT recommend this school to anyone who is serious about their education. It will take you years to finish because the school requires so MANY pre courses!!!!(also-alot of foregion teachers with HEAVY HEAVY accents work there-DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND).I have one positive mention.I had one math teacher who was amazing. She was the best teacher I ever had, ever. There are a FEW who are good;mostly the rest are a dime a dozen. |
