I've been going to PPU since autumn as a High school dual-enrollment student. If anyone from Woodland Hills is reading this, DO THE COLLEGE NOW PROGRAM!! Dr. Denton and all the teachers I've interacted with have been friendly, and some have even bent over backwards to give me extra help. I've only taken a couple classes, so I don't have a total understanding of everything, however, the teachers I've had have been informed, helpful, and intelligent. The only thing I can say against them is that the course work is in no way challenging. It's interesting, yes, but every paper I wrote for my English 250 course was done an hour before the class started. I received A's on all of them.I've found it really hard to connect with current students, but this is real life. You'll find those rare people who you like and find interesting, and I think what's great about point park is that there are so many different types of people. The diversity is amazing, and I really appreciate it.Just my two cents on everything, I won't be continuing in college here because Point Park doesn't have what I want specifically, but I hope this helps someone out. |
