I received a high quality education at PCC, and went on to attend graduate school and complete a master's degree. Clinical experiences prepared me to be an excellent nurse. I had to study more than friends who were not in the nursing program. I didn't have much of a social life due to always being in the library or at the hospital, but that is, after all, why I was in college. There was never an issue with (lack of) accredidation for me, either when taking NCLEX, being accepted to graduate school, or being hired as nursing faculty at the college (not PCC) where I have taught for 8 years now.

Yes, of course there were the rules. There is always mention of rules when one talks about PCC. Do I embrace every PCC rule as my personal moral standard? No, I do not, but that doesn't mean I find no place for rules in a student body. I viewed them as my job, a committment I made in exchange for an excellent and reasonably priced education. White glove cleaning, required events, and dress codes didn't hurt me one bit; in fact I feel better prepared to act professionally in the real world because of being held to a high standard.
