108.33.43.66:valid::All staff, including the Dean, is incredibly rude, and extremely condescending. The website has "not exactly true" information--as admitted by an adviser at the Brandon campus. The website boasts FALSE information, and even the dean can't get his story straight. Please, please, go elsewhere!!

Statistical Analyzer:

When I enrolled in this college I had already completed my AA towards History at SPC. Before that I had went to SFCC in Gainesville and by far this is the worst college I have ever been to. When I first enrolled they had problems receiving my electronic transcripts and then failed to tell me which one was messed up so I drove out to SPC from Tampa to get them only to be told I needed the ones from SFCC. Oh always have your transcripts mailed to your house and hand it to them or they might never get processed. After they had received all my transcripts it takes them about 3 months to process them so for two terms I had to keep getting flags removed for my account to sign up for classes even though I had an AA already. This means waiting in lines for HOURS. Where they have signs all over the place saying do cuss at the staff or action will be taken by the dean blah blah blah.

After going here for two terms I decided it makes more sense to finish my History degree and I am now trying to transfer out to USF on a strict deadline. I put in for my transcript request to be mailed because they will not do electronic transfers. Its been 10 days and still no transcript when it only took both SPC and SFCC 2 days. When you check HCC's website it says they staff will TRY to process a request within two weeks. TRY is the key word as it could take them an entire month. Completely unacceptable all they are doing is printing it and mailing it. I doubt calling about bitching will do much until a few days past 2 weeks but I could very well get screwed out of getting into another college because of them. THANKS CRAPPY STAFF OF HCC
