Pros: Campus is very pretty, I love the flowers that blossom, lots of opprotunities to get in touch with nature-there is a natural trail and n arboretum on campus(though they are talking about closing it to build a parking lot), Little Big Econ forest is 1/2 hour away and there's a nice bike trail about two miles from campus. I also think UCF does a good job at having so many student groups on campus. If you want to get involved you can. I went to New Orleans for free through a student group. And if you don't have a car there is a free bus you can take to the surrounding areas (Target, movies, clubs)on Friday and Saturday nights.

Cons: the financial aid office sucks here. Unless your parents saved up enough money or you plan on working two jobs, you will probably end up taking out loans. UCF offers hardly anything else. The classes are big, especially at the beginning, do not expect the professor to know your name, even if you go to their office hours, they see so many people. Because theyre are so many students, a lot of times the classes you need will be filled up before you could even register. Even though is so big, they still only offer certain upper division classes only in one term. So if you need a class that is only offered in spring and you cant fit it into your schedule, it wont be offered again until next spring. One of the reasons UCF = U Cant Finish. The physics department sucks. I have never came across a bigger group of condescending people who can't even speak English properly, let alone teach. The "doctors" in the health center are also condescending, they do not listen to you and believe me they will talk about you when you leave. UCF's library sucks. If you want to find a nonfiction book be prepared to be overwhelmed by books written 40 years ago and dusty, the entire library is poorly managed, do not expect to be able to find a computer, and doesnt matter which floor youre on, people talk on their phones loudly with no common courtesy for anyone else. Last but not least Career Services is an absolute joke. They say they have 600 jobs on their website, but only 80 are part time and for students and high number are scams. You would think they would filter out those but im pretty sure they dont care enough to try

UCF is not a completely horrible place. HOWEVER it is not worth half of the 15k of debt I'm in.
