After Campbell, I went to a very well known, large university to receive my masters degree. The department head there stated that he chose me because I had attended a small university which offered internships. He continued saying that students who come from smaller universities usually are better equipped to handle graduate school. I found my graduate studies easier than many of the classes I had at Campbell. When I started my counseling career, I found I was able to use many of the practical skills I had learned from my classes at Campbell. My sister who is also an alumni 8 years later has stated similar comments as the above. |
