I learned quite a bit in my two years there, though whether or not if was from the classes is hard to tell. The computer science department has some serious issues with tenured teachers who seem to have given up on teaching. Not that you can blame them with some of the students they get. So you really need to be a self starter to get anything out of these classes, and usually if you actively engage one of the teachers they will respond by actually teaching you something. |
