Statistical Analyzer:

small town atmosphere extends onto campus. friendly and casual air except when the wind blows up from the hog barn. can easily escape on a bike into the local fields and hills. close to Bay Area and Tahoe for culture/skiing/hiking/etc. I enjoyed Davis and if anything was lacking I could jump to UC Berkeley to get a book/a seminar/ or what ever was not at UCD or could not be delivered by intercampus services.

hot weather only for a week or two in Oct and May/June. cheaper living than in a city - local produce at farmers markets and even living in a nearby town can save money too.

UCD's crew and fencing clubs are not always mentioned on the college comparison sites. There is more to Davis then meets the … web
