Two friends are graduating without ANY confidence that they know how to write "effectively". They dedicate one class to learning how to write, but its not enough. One of the TA teaches one of the most important classes in Psychology, he yawns, smacks his lips, and spits sarcasm at other students! And don't ask him a question around break time because he is a chain smoker so he gets irritable when he can't smoke. One of my classmates told me that she applied to GSU's psychology program for grad school. She got in easily. The other classmate I know did not. The difference between the two, the latter actually wants to pursue a career in psychology, has research interests..etc. The other just told them what they wanted to hear! We were told the faculty can "read" people when they interview…What a joke! I decided not to apply to GSU in the fall because if they can overlook a student that is an obvious asset, and accept a bunch of ACTORS who will say just about anything to get in, they deserve the rating that they have. It comical…Not all faculty are bad…but they really need to step their teaching games up…its bad…some are lazy…BTW, the TA that teaches Research Methods need to re-evaluated…he sucks. |
