I was FAR more pleased with the Foreign Language teachers than the Elementary Ed teachers, although I'm sure by now most of the teachers I disliked have either retired or are close to retirement. I was not informed properly about what a year abroad would do to my student teaching time, and as a result, I had to graduate without my PA teaching cert or PAY FOR ANOTHER SEMESTER at LVC - no way. As expensive and trying as my years at LVC were, it was all worth it when I studied in Spain. If I could, I'd take back all the money I owe to LVC and send it to my college in Spain, because that experience alone made my college years worthwhile. I would recommend to anyone - get your gen eds done at a local community college. Transfer in to another college, but do not waste your money at LVC unless you are a trust fund baby or your parents are paying for your education. It's just not worth it. |
