Overall, I am thankful for my education recieved while at PCC. The nursing program was intense but prepared me very well for the real world of nursing. I often think to myself, If I could survive nursing school at PCC…I could do anything. I had some real high points while a student there and some very low points as well. High points included meeting wonderful life long friends, and spiritual decisions made for the Lord. The low points would include when I was not allowed to fly home for my sisters wedding because I would've missed a required Revival meeting. They eventually let me go, but I literally had to fly in the night before the wedding and leave the morning after the wedding. My parents had to pay a fine to the airline for having to change my flight…so I could attend the required "Revival" service. Other low points included one of my nursing instructers asking me if I was "Saved" because I wanted to change my major. I found it insulting. I also became involved in a relationship at PCC that was unhealthy…and this still effects me to this day. I also found it very self-deafeating to try and measure up to their definition of spirituality. I am glad now that I realize my relationship with Christ is not about the "do's" and "don'ts" of PCC.

It was not all bad, but not all good either. Anyone considering going to this college needs to prayfully consider their options. It is the right place for some, but not for all. I believe it was where the Lord led me…and overall I am glad for the decision I made.
