If you apply yourself you will do well. I found older students usually did better because they were motivated and willing to listen and learn. The younger kids that thought they already knew everything about IT because they built a web page usually dropped out. Many of them thought they would be writing video game applications etc. This is not a place you can just skate through. I have attended many diffrent state and private colleges and DeVry is better than all when it came to real world hands on experience and getting you ready for the real world. There are a lot of projects and assignments, so you won't have much of a social life. By the time I got to DeVry I already had that party thing out of my system and realized I needed to get my stuff together. My wife went there as well and we have done very well over the last 15 years with each of us making around 100k. However, we have trained and done a lot of work after DeVry. DeVry will give you a great foundation what you do after will determine how you end up. In IT the learning never ends if you are ok with training on weekends and constantly dealing with changing directions and ridiculous timelines then IT is for you, otherwise go get a business degree.
