I didn't know anyone upon starting here and I was nervous that I wouldn't make friends as I can be a bit shy. Since a lot of people went to high school with each other it took a little while for some of them to branch out but it was absolutely worth the wait. I have met some of the most amazing and kind-hearted people at this school and since it's a small college I see most of them daily. The professors are very approachable and easy to track down if you are in need of homework help. There is always something going on through the student organizations so if you are bored, it is your own fault. If you can't find an organization to join that you are interested in, it is extremely simple to get one started up with funding from the school. As for off-campus activities, if there is not a school-sponsored one (they have one almost every weekend to places such as movie theaters, baseball games, roller rinks, bowling alleys, etc.), downtown Milwaukee is only about a 15 minute drive away. Don't have a car? No problem. Campus is extremely walkable and bus passes are available from some of the offices if you need to get to the city. The dorms are amazing, you'd be hard pressed to find better ones at another college. The campus owns a considerable amount of housing such as apartments and houses that are all maintained through the school and within a few blocks of the campus. There are chapel services daily that are not mandatory but are a great addition to the day. They also offer a midweek evening service and a contemporary Sunday service that features student musicians. All in all, this is a great school with a great Christian atmosphere.
