Statistical Analyzer:

I transferred from a community college in New England to UIW. I didn't actually come down here for the school… (that would have been a terrible choice) I came down here after joining the Air Force. Anyway, I'm not going to go into detail about my background other than I'm an above average student.

Ok, so here we go.

PARKING! -plan on getting at least 2 tickets your first semester. THEY LOVE to give out parking tickets. $60 a pop. Also plan on not having any parking available.

Professors - You're paying top money for a school that has half of their faculty teach at San Antonio College, and other community colleges in the surrounding area. 75% are crap that offer no help, and 25% are extremely good and deserve to be at a MUCH better school (Dr. Lewis, Philosophy)

Labs - I honestly don't understand why they even offer these classes to students. If you take A&P or BIO..etc, you're going to have to take a lab. On your schedule it'll say that their roughly 3 hours long. Plan on doing some UNINTERESTING busy work for about half hour with a professor who just finished their undergrad. absolute waste of time, and the easiest A you will ever get.

PRICE: Don't even get me started…perhaps if your grades are good enough check into some ivy league schools. You'll pay about the same as going to UIW.

FOOD: options are limited here. Chick-fil-a and the dining hall. The dining hall is about a 5/10.

SOCIAL SCENE: No comment, because there it doesn't exist.

There really aren't any besides the campus is kept in pretty good condition.

The only reason I'm still attending this school is because I have to be near Lackland, AFB and it's the only school in the area that has an accredited Athletic Training program.

Don't waste your time or money. Find something else…
