I often hear about the reputation of larger schools such as the University of Texas, Texas A&M and the like. And,I enjoy hiring those people to WORK FOR ME!Midwestern provided me with a solid education and wonderful opportunities to continue my education (I also recived a Masters Degree from MSU). Midwestern also helped me secure the internship that has since turned into a 35 year career in city management. I would stack up the education at MSU against any but the very top research institutions in the country. You get out of your school what you are willing to put into it. Midwestern was the perfect fit for me. I had been accepted to several more "prestigious" universities but events conspired to have me attend Midwestern. I had to put myself through school after my Dad died and Midwestern was the perfect place for me to attend at a cost I could afford at the time.In the end Midwestern gave me the tools to have a very successful career. I would and do recommend Midwesten to anyone looking for a solid university that will prepare you for life.
