Keep in mind however that it is the epitome of a communter school. As such you will likely not make a single lasting friendship here unless you are a part of the miniscule dormitory population. The students are among the rudest people I have ever met, inside or out of academia. Do not expect so much as an 'excuse me' or a courtesy nod. Best advice: keep your head down, and behave just as rudely as everyone else, your time here will be over soon enough. On the plus side: the classes aren't too big and the professors are quite good. As long as you aren't looking for a social life and don't mind callous rudeness that makes Paris look like Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, you can get a good education here. |
