The school is caring, considerate, and watches out for the individual as a whole. Academics are only a part what is taught at BBC. I had the honor of being involved in may ways at the school and look back fondly at that privilege. Understanding that because it is a God centered institution there will always be a broad perspective of experiences that students will have as their are varying degrees by which people are at in their spiritual growth. One thing I noticed about those in authority at BBC is that they have great desire for people to grow spiritually and are open to differing opinions of things. On multiple occasions I had the chance to voice my disagreement and found that when a disagreement was brought to attention in a humble manner that the response was always without fail a respectful and caring answer back. Whether it be a difference in theology or in rules or the way things worked. The school pushes the individual to grow spiritually. That is the ultimate goal. To help produce leaders for God and for the world. I believe the school desires to do that. This is why the school does not have a ton of liberal arts degrees because they teach so much Bible for each major. Although now I believe the school has the status with accreditation to offer double majors. One Bible Major and the other your choice. It is A LOT of work but totally worth it. The school and its professors helped me to get a job at a church shortly after I graduated. Its a great place to be! |
