There are some outstanding programs here. Marymount is very diverse and I love being a part of that. The renovations are in the works. I think that the university will eventually become more selective because of the growth that is underway. Good academics. Certain departments are better than others. And I know that firsthand, because I have changed my major. Therefore, I have taken a lot of different kinds of classes here at this university. I have had some good times and bad here, made great friends, and have also encountered some of the most snobby and close-minded people that I have ever met. (Very diverse school) There are some great faculty members, and overall the professors are very good at what they do. However, some are terrible and I am shocked that they were even able to earn a masters degree. Don't get me wrong. If you get accepted, you can do great things here. I recommend my school to prospective students. You are not just a number at Marymount. It isn't too hard to become a student leader, peer mentor, MU Ambassador, or start a club. You can do all of those things, actually. And there will be people willing to help you accomplish your goals. Marymount has a great reputation in the area, and if you say that you graduated from this school, your prospective employers will take you seriously. |
