It's funny. A lot of people writing about Simon's Rock are VERY dramatic about it. But that's Simon's Rock! It's a very dramatic place with young people trying very hard to be old. I certainly was, but in hindsight it's not as evil as so many make it out to be. Would I go again? No, but that doesn't mean it was bad. Everyone on here who relly bags on it seems to be missing the fact that ALL experiences have positives and negatives. It is true, however, that not all experiences cost so much. Smart people, self important in many ways, but also many real ones. I was too young to really "get" it. I should have done a year abroad or foreign exchange to grow a bit. Some of my peers did great. |
