My own personal experience at this school was not good at all. The most helpful experiences for me were working the community -Worcester is a great city for internships and young students. The professors that were helpful to me are no longer there. I have to admit that this is a great school for geography majors or urban education. However, please be prepared for a very small student body population -which is clique. That was new for me because my high school was not clique at all, and to go to a college that was like that was insane to me. Also, this is a hippy school. It's gay friendly, but again, small community so not a lot of people to choose from. I think it's supportive to the Jewish population. I think the majority of the class were stoners for the first year or so. Fairly normal in college but with big universities it's easier to choose to hang out with. Don't go here if you need variety in the people you spend time with…this is a small, clique school -not a community feel. I will say that it is easy to start and be involved in student organizations. |
