Do not choose this school. It is focused on indoctrination into their religion, and anyone not of their religion has it stuffed down their throat. Let's just say that this is not the place for open-minded students. Also, the Aviation program is deteriorating. It's not worth the private loans you will have to take out, particularly since it is not guaranteed that they will have the aircraft required for your course. And they don't give refunds past the semester that you registered for. So if you register over the summer for a multi-engine course and they sell that multi-engine plane in the middle of your training and promise to get a new one soon for you to complete your course, and then they don't get the plane until the next semester after half your money for that course is used for your learning, you have to find more money to start all over. Or, do what I did, and drop the program. Take my advice BEFORE you take out tens of thousands of dollars in student loans per this department's recommendations and go to Western for your Aviation training. Otherwise you will regret it and literally be paying for it for the rest of your life. You will also have to fight with the university for 2 years or so to get the degree that you were told by practically negligent advisors you had completed because the university decides that you actually haven't met their requirements. Do yourself a favor and go to a community college to start until you really know what you want to do, and then choose a university other than Andrews. |
