Coe is diverse in more than one aspect. It has a large sack of cliques and groups people can fit into and it does actually feel like the squeal to "high school" (concerning social life). Going to Coe is awesome if you have a jock strap on your head. If you are one of those people that doesn't devote 50% of their life to sports and getting smashed on weekends, think carefully.

Education is also variable. All I can (accurately) tell you about is the science program. If you're interested in hard science, you are in luck. The physics and chemistry departments will practically give you blow jobs. If you're a soft science kind of student, you're going to be one of many hands clamoring for attention. Professors, in general, are nice and understanding… those virtues don't always extent to the rest of the faculty.

Coe devotes A LOT of time and money to recruiting and it shows. Freshman housing can be terrible with the overcrowding and your first year support system is based solely around the idea that students wont realize that most of their 40,000 tuition is diverted to jock-related sports and recruiting. If you ever visit remember that old saying: all that glitters is not gold.

Coe WILL take care of your money, very good care. All you need to do is be a jock and pick the right major… otherwise you might end up in shit-city.
