Coming from a small, suburban town and a public high school, I was a little apprehensive about what my experience would be like at Holy Cross. So far, I have loved my experience here and would not trade it to go anywhere else. I am the first person to admit we are not a diverse school, and there are a lot of spoiled brats here, but most people are extremely genuine, and overall good people. The city of Worcester is ehh at best, but there are ways around it (i.e. the free shuttles to Boston and Providence). All my professors have been amazing so far, and actually take an interest in me as a person. If you are not a complete social retard, there are usually plenty of parties to go to on the weekends. One thing I will say is that if you are looking for an easy ride through college, DO NOT COME HERE! The workload is incredibly challenging and, at times, somewhat ridiculous, but is worth it (at least in my opinion). |
