I have been thus far mute on this issue and am taki.g.the opportunity to express myself.. All the information on control tactics, unfair gender practices, racial discrimation, outlandish, over the top gestapo agent behaviors is all true.. I came there with.an open heart, a willing spirit, and a sound mind, i left there.divided.and conquered, questioning God, my self, and all things Christian.. I have only recently come to.peace with seeing PCC as one representation of Christianity..and understanding God can show up in many forms and encourage and appreciate … I was ostracized, followed, spyed on, alienated, targeted based on rumors…Individuality is not fostered, encouraged, and was met wigh brutual opposition.. . It left me with a chasm between me and my parents (who sent me enthusiastically), the fundamental Baptist church I originated from, and me and Christ himself.. I spend 2 years there, made the Deans List and made friends.. However, all of the above, was unable to counterbalance all the wreckage done to the.person..Now that was personal, here are facts.. Unless you plan to confine.yourself and live.in PCC land…all of the "fine education" means nada in actualized physicality.. I.e. the real world.. Which you leave the institution completely.unprepared for.. In all ways.. Who actually doesnt interact with opposite sex on a daily.basis?.. This institution is.one.of the.most sexist, racist, classist, individual suppressing spaces I.have journeyed in..and most , they.purport to be representatives of the way, the truth, and the light.. and |
