i love my school!!!! the people i have met have been very positive, welcoming, and helpful (although there have been a few bad apples/ rude people i have met). being someone very different from the typically preppy lehigh kid, no one has bothered me at all, and people keep to themselves. after one year of college, i still don't know everybody yet which is good, because that keeps the school interesting (so the school isn't super small…this isn't high school pt. 2 at all). now, for academics, most professors are pretty kind and have good intentions, but some are a little rude and unhelpful (maybe due to lack of sleep, etc. who knows haha). also, the academic workload can be stressful. you have to always be right or else you won't get credit, which is a bummer, but that's college…gotta work hard to be perfect. overall, i think the people in the school are friendly…they keep to themselves most of the time which is what i REALLY LOVE so you won't be bothered at all by anyone. furthermore, the party scene/greek system is a bit overrated (which is why i will not be living on campus next year). if you don't like the greek system, definitely join clubs. i love being involved in clubs on campus!!!! in the end of it all, i feel like in high school i didn't have the chance to be myself, but that's what i really love about my school now… no one judges you and you can be yourself here. lehigh!!!!!!!!!! |
