At first i tranferred to Franklin U because the tuition was lower than where I obtained my Associates degree. The school was proud to have competitive lower tuition. The classwork is challenging but as time went on, more specified time meetings were being required for class and if you couldn't attend due to work schedules the only way to make it up was to write a research paper or reflection on the week's work. Sometimes this because busy work as the reflection was similar to the assignments. There are a bunch of papers to write for Franklin courses, in all courses, even computer courses. When you have questions, 50% of the staff is either too arrogant to help and thinks you should know the material already (some of us are enrolled to actually learn things) or take so long to respond. You can only schedule one tutoring session per subject per week, so I you are having trouble you may want to make friends with your classmates and hope that one of them is already working in the field so they can help tutor you (I have had that happen twice). I gave a good rating as a female in computer major because there is an ACM chapter that holds online meetings. They have been a great group of people and if there are jobs out there, they post them to their facebook group. The tuition is now at 511/credit as we speak and that is pretty steep. For a working adult, worried about class and work, the last thing i need to add to the equation is how am i going to pay this tuition now. |
