This school was made for people who have undecided majors or just need a quick, cheap associates degree. Student services are always a mess, unorganized and confused with any questions you may bring up to them. Chances are if you don't know the answer to your problem they don't either. The teachers can either be really helpful and make the class good or won't care at all and won't even notice if you drop the class. The Berg Instructional Center is the best place in the building, however the K building is not the nicest looking or smelling building, especially since its the oldest part of the college. College of DuPage offers Associates of Science or Arts to the majority of the kids that walk in so it's very easy to waste your money on classes you'll never need. Be sure to confirm with a university that your classes are transferable before enrolling. The huge issue with the school is the staff. Every semester that I enrolled in the class, financial aid always dropped me out of my classes for some reason and they do nothing to help you get the classes you paid for back. They are always confused and will always give you the run-a-round to ask other departments questions that they should have the answer to. If you enroll be always on MyAccess to make sure financial aid is set to go for the term. I would not recommend this school to anyone that is looking for a serious education. |
