I went to Mount Olive College from 2004-2007. During that time, I received both academic and athletic scholarships and was extremely involved in campus organizations (e.g. Fellowship of Christian Athletes, founded Mount Olive College's Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Chapter, and led fundraising for ACS). The college is quaint, quiet, and in a very small town. The students are friendly, mostly hailing from the region, but there are also international students. The academics were challenging, but I double-majored in business and HRM. There is plenty of opportunity to make something of yourself at the school. The professors there always gave me 1:1 advice, and I'm in regular contact with many of them. After graduating I was accepted in to American University's Kogod School of Business, where I obtained an MBA and specialized in Social Statistics. I'm proud of my accomplishment of this tiny gem of a college and thought my education was a good value. |
