Don't go here. If you have good enough grades go to michigan or state or if you don't attend northern or a community college- just don't go here. CMU isn't worth your money. The people here are drones, mindless sheep being herded around- unaware imbeciles programmed to not question anything. The food they feed you in the caf was surely designed for cattle- as I have endless stomachaches and bowel issues because of it. Food should not feel like this. It is all surely pumped with GMOs and other hormones. My body has taken a plummeting downfall both mentally and physically since I started going here. All anyone does is drink. If you're not greek or hot you're no one. If you show any sort of creative expression people dub you as weird. It's pretty easy to stand out here and be alienated for it. Physically the campus is nice looking and I do believe CMU COULD be a good school, I've really truly liked a few of my professors but others are just there to get paid (one of my profs showed an episode of the office in class because he "had a rough night")- these sort of actions as well as the overall atmosphere is why I literally cannot wait to transfer next semester.
