I have enjoyed my time at Cochran School of nursing. I find the staff to be very personable, one of the great things about a small private institution is you're not just a number. The school has high grading standards. Passing is 80% or above. No exceptions. But it's doable and I love the challenge. Keeps me young ;-). I do feel the school works well for second career students. Older students and I still find time for my family and friends when needed. This is a hospital based program, so don't expect beautiful grounds, also don't expect a huge campus social life. People come to school and go to work or home.. But u make wonderful friends in lecture and clinical. The clinical experience for the day students seems to get more experience, which is wonderful and helps with understanding topics. Overall I love the school and am excited to continue. |
