William Jewell College is the epitome of a lie. Going through the process of taking visits to WJC was fun and everyone was welcoming and told you all the things you wanted to hear. The football coach told me all the things I wanted to hear and getting a full athletic scholarship just added to me wanting to go to WJC. Once I got settled in and began my William Jewell life, I noticed that pretty much everything I expected from Jewell was a lie and not just one aspect, but EVERY aspect of Jewell. The professors were terrible and only cared about their research, the students, for the most part, are arrogant, close-minded, and brainwashed, the facilities are all terrible, I did not even get to see the dorm room I actually lived in when I went on my tours and when I finally did experience the dorms, it made me become depressed because I was living in terrible living situations. The athletics are terrible besides soccer, the football program is horrific and that is mostly because of how the coaches approach coaching. Also the other guys on the team were either terrible players that thought they were amazing, or they had a little bit of talent and thought they were amazing, both bringing about a high level of tools, idiots, and douches. I maybe liked five people on the entire team. The girls are nothing special as well, and I will just leave it at that.
