This school touts that its curriculum appeals to the "working adult". It does not. If you choose to attend this school, prepare to write a lot. All of the time. Weekly writing assignments regularly approach 10-15 pages, and this is in addition to quizzes. Midterm and final examinations are nightmares, requiring 6 weeks worth of reading for both with no definitive idea of what will be on either test. Some classes have grading systems that are beyond bizarre; the grade in my recent Experimental Psychology class was calculated as 50% of the entire COURSE grade coming from exams. So, if you screw up one again- be it the midterm or the final- your final grade will suffer. Unrealistic work load and absent mentors. Oh, and enjoy the $300 graduation fee! |
