I grew up with NICC basically in my backyard. It is a great college to help those who just need General Eds., Associates, or are looking to take a couple of classes. As a high school student of the area, I also had the chance to get half of my Gen. Eds. done before I graduated. Some of my fellow students graduated high school WITH an Associates degree. It's not a place to go solely for kicks and giggles. There isn't excessive partying, or an abundance of night life or extra curricular activities to distract you from studying. That is good in some regards though. It is located in a historically rich and friendly small town community and provides quality education to the students. NICC is a great community college for a stepping stone because of its great transferrable credits. I recommend this college for people who are serious about education and are looking for people to really connect with. This school is especially known for its Agriculture department, just FYI. |
