I was a CPM student from out of state and I have to be honest if you are an out of state student do not even bother to go to this school for the CPM program. The teachers are extremely biased and negative towards out of state people, especially those who are not from new england, and they only help you get jobs in Vermont. The CPM program could be very good and helpful but the teachers in the program are not very good and it is not worth your time and money. I would only recommend the CPM major if you just want to get a degree to help get a better job, not if you want to learn anything about construction. And don't let them fool you with saying the program is "hands on" because it is far from it. The most hands on thing we did was build a shed, and anyone interested in construction should be able to build a shed so it was pointless to do. |
