Before coming to this school I read all the negative comments and I ignored them PLEASE don't be like me!!!! This school was a joke, it is over priced, dirty, tons of drugs being sold on campus and basically the worst school you could ever choose. I moved from Florida and i must say it was a culture shock! I lived on campus for my first year and hated every second of it!!!! The campus is always dirty the dorms haven't been remodel since the early 1970's. The type of people who go to that school are the worst of the bunch, they are all ghetto, loud and completely rude! If your not black or a athlete you won't make any friends. I advice any parent who is considering letting their child go to LIU, please don't your waisting your time and effort.
