RIT really is a great place, but you should know what you want to study the moment you get to RIT. It's hard to change your major, especially if you want to change to a BFA or out of your college.

People are generally friendly, but you might have to go out of your way to talk to people. If you are friendly, people will be friendly to you. If you want to have a social life, you can have one. There is a lot to do on campus if you put yourself out there.

RIT really is a great school. Even if you are struggling, RIT is there to help you succeed. Your advisour wants to help you achieve what you want at RIT.

Ellingson dorms are nice. They are big, air conditioned, and you only have to share a bathroom with 5 people. The deaf community in Ellingson is really great and not as noisy as people say.
