Long Island University is a snotty school. The students who attend here are very cliquish and unfriendly. The school has an approximately 75 percent female population-100 percent of the females who attend at LIU Post think they are

G-d's gift to education. I am not one to stereotype about Long Island, but these students (men and women alike) are ruthless. If you plan to socialize at LIU Post, be prepared to join a frat, a sorority, become the captain of a competitive sports team, or be elected president of a "club".

The men at Long Island University aren't too friendly either. Mostly jocks. Those who talk to one another feel a sense of entitlement that if they talk, it is most likely in a fake or condescending manner.

It is also true that most students commute. Those that dorm will not cross paths with commuter students. Very few exceptions apply.

Three of the few things that appealed about Long Island University are the food, the parking, and campus safety. These are three items that many who attend and work here will frequently complain about. The food is top notch-everything on the menu-Subway sandwiches, grill, fruits, you name it! It's here and it is VERY affordable. No tax if you pay using preloaded funds on your LIU Card. LIU Cards, or student IDs, can have funds added in Hillwood, the student "union" next to the reception table.

There is ALWAYS a legal place to park at LIU Post/CW Post-whatever you want to call it. Yet still, these pre-madonna students will park illegally and complain when their precious automobiles have tickets on their windshields.

At no point, in broad daylight or in the dead of night, have I ever felt unsafe. There is a presence of Public Safety who work tirelessly to protect the campus and keep it safe.

As far as the education component of the "school" is concerned, it is fair. While about half of the professors who teach here are courteous and learned, the other half will grill you if you do not kiss up to them.
