WSU is located in Fairborn, which is a small town about 20 minute drive to downtown Dayton. Dayton is not even like a big city or anything, and most parts of Dayton are pretty sketchy. There is not really much to do in Fairborn too. They have a couple of nice restaurants in beavercreek, which is a 5 to 10 minute drive from fairborn. Its a small town so most people here are reserved and its very difficult to make friends. There is not very much college experience. All people do is go to class & go home or work. There is not much interaction between students in class. Students pretty much keep to themselves, and most of the students here are from columbus, Cincinnati & Dayton area. If you want a college experience go some where else. And they make most of their classes difficult for nothing. I transferred from University of Pittsburgh, which is one of the best schools, and professors did not make classes as hard as they make it at wright state. Some of the professors here are a complete joke. Best advice, if you have a chance to go to another school, go there don't come here. School here sucks. |
