If you come to school for petroleum engineering then the academics are great. However, if it's for anything other than that this school is not worth it. The price is far too high for what you get and the administration seems out to make your lives as dull as possible. Some call it the Harvard of the midwest but they must only be talking about the price tag because it certainly isn't the quality of the education or the reputation of the school. Anybody that I interviewed for after college had never even heard of it. Preparation for the workforce is lackluster at best. That being said your fellow students will be the best friends you will ever meet. The Greek Life community is amazing and will do more for your career than the college ever will.In my opinion there's no professional benefit to this school. You'll graduate with crippling student debt and only be employed in your field if you graduate from their petroleum engineering program. Other than that you'll have to make due with what you can get. |
