UT is a great school to attend. People leave and transfer from here because they miss home too much and are still stuck in the mind of high school or they just didn't make any effort to socialize here. Nightlife is great on the weekends as long as you know people who host parties and the clubs are good too. Academics are decent. Most faculty are approachable. There is a lack of school spirit here but a lot of other things make up for that. Your college experience at UT is what you make of it!
