Statistical Analyzer:

Loyola University Maryland is a great school and I would recommend it to prospective high school students. Since it is a small school, you get more interaction with your fellow classmates and professors which requires more active participation but it allows you to build stronger relationships with people. The academics are good here and could be challenging at times.

Loyola is a bar school, which means that you will have to get a fake id if you want to go out and do anything remotely fun on the weekends. Of course there other things to do but not most of the time. This school has no frats or sororities so there are no parties on campus.

The school is very cliquey which is annoying because once friend groups are established they aren't going to let you into it. I know many people who transferred because they did not like the people and were not fitting in. I too know people who got kicked out for doing poorly academically so it is important to keep your grades up as well to stay here. In the end I wish I did think more wisely about my college choosing decision but I wouldn't leave because it is a good school and there are ways to involve yourself and meet new people if you put the effort in.
