Your John Carroll University experience is what you make of it. John Carroll has invested in their Communications and Boler Business Schools to help prepare students for the real world and connect them with businesses. 98% of Carroll business students have jobs graduating and there is an extremely strong alumni base. As for those of you looking to go to graduate school especially in medical fields, Carroll definitely sets you up. All of my friends in Carroll got accepted into programs by graduation while people I went to high school with who attended schools like Darmouth and Villanova weren't accepted. If you put in the time and effort to do well and build relationships, you will love your academic experience. As for the social scene, JCU is very social but we didn't care about the only party being broken up or just hanging out in the dorm room. It was about building relationships and lifelong friendships that nothing else will compare to. Those stores from the misadventures on Warrensville or failed parties will keep you reminiscing even after you graduate. JCU develops you as a person and if you are just looking for only rigorous academics or just to party hard every weekend, you'll be disappointed. JCU is about building a community. |
